Review: Gabriel's Inferno

Gabriel's Inferno Gabriel's Inferno by Sylvain Reynard
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

'Gabriel's Inferno' in book one in the "Gabriel's Inferno" series by Sylvain Reynard. This is the story of Professor Gabriel Emerson and Julia Mitchell. This book does start a three part book series that continues Julia and Gabriel's story...but I did feel the ending wasn't so bad. Sometimes books end when such a hash ending that you feel frustrated...not this one. You just really wanted that next book to keep reading their story!
Julia is Gabriel's adopted sister best friend and actually meets him when Gabriel is fighting with his adopted parents. Gabriel was high on cocaine at the time too so later he doesn't remember her. Julia remembers that night that she stayed with him while he was upset with his parents and she feel in love with him. But the next morning when she woke up he was gone. Now years later she finds he is a Professor at the college she is attended and will be her Professor too for a class. They both are attracted to each other but know that nothing can come of it since this would be crossing a line that could get them both in trouble. But their feelings just wont stop and Gabriel starts to figure out that they have meet before.
Gabriel has a lot of issues that he that make it hard for him to be open and to believe in love. Julia too was hurt by a previous boyfriend and also her parents were not the best either. So they are both damaged people trying to find there way through their feelings. I so enjoyed this story!!!
