Review: Shunned No More

Shunned No More Shunned No More by Christina McKnight
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

"Shunned No More" by Christina McKnight is book one in the "A Lady Forsaken" series. This is the story of Lady Viola Oberbrook and Brock Spencer, Earl of Haversham. This was a nice clean easy read!
Viola was a total different person about eight years ago when she was a young lady who attracted a lot of suitors. Two were twin brothers that had a dual over her...sadly they ended up killing each other. This of course put the town against Viola and she left the town. Viola started a horse business with the help of her father. Now eight years later she does nothing but working in the country on her horse business. Brock is the oldest brother of the two that were killed in the duel. Brock was not around for the duel and has never actually met Viola. So when he comes to her to buy some horses he doesn't know who she is. Viola also tries to keep him from knowing who she is. But they is an attraction between the two. Will this attraction lead to something else? Can they overcome the past to be together. This was a nice start to this series...can't wait for more.
"My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."
