Review: The Highlander Who Loved Me

The Highlander Who Loved Me The Highlander Who Loved Me by Tara Kingston
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

'The Highlander Who Loved Me' by Tara Kingston is the story of Johanna Templeton and Connor MacMasters. Johanna is originally from America but had come to London to care for her dying sister and help with her niece. After the death of her sister her brother in law had decided to take his daughter to the Highlands. But not long after Johanna received a ransom letter for her niece. It seems that her brother in law was not what he seemed and now her niece is being held for an exchange of a book that her brother in law left with her. Connor is on a mission as a spy for Queen Victoria and ends up monitoring Johanna. When Johanna and Connor meet she tries to keep what she is doing to herself as she is so worried for her niece but Connor slowly convinced her to let him help her. Along the way they couldn't stop their attraction from growing.
This was an exciting and funny and a overall a great read!
"My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."
