I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
'It Takes a Spy' by Sheridan Jeane is the first book in the "Secrets and Seduction" series. This is the story of Cecilia Paring and Devin Montlake.

Cecilia is engaged to Devin who has been a childhood friend. Now Devin is as a barrister who has plans to get a Judge. Cecilia has her doubts that she will be able to fit in with the other wives and also be the wife that she thinks Devin wants. To add to her doubts he has asked her to take behavior classes. Although Devin says it is to help her deal with the other wives/people who may judge her.

Devin seems to live a orderly life with everything pretty much planned out. Devin does want to marry Cecilia but has had a few small doubts.
While at a party Devin is accused of being a thief and a necklace has been found in his pockets.
Cecilia has taken the lead at the party to get him away from the police and people trying to question him. Cecilia knows that he would never take anything...much less something from her family. Now Devin's plans are taking a turn....

This was a really great book where you grow with Cecilia and Devin as they become more solid in their relationship. I loved the secondary characters too. I just can't wait to read more by Ms. Sheridan!!
