The Irish Warrior by Ashley York
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
'The Irish Warrior' by Ashley York is book 2.5 in the "The Norman Conquest" series. This is the story of Thomasina MacDonell "Tommy" and Sean O'Cisoghe . This is a standalone book but it does pick up the story of Sean after he was turned away from Brighit in the "The Gentle Knight" series.
I so enjoyed this book...each book I think gets better than the next!
Tommy has had a tough time of it with her drunk father. If not for her brother who protected her, it could have been worse. On one such issue with her father where he is trying to marry her off to an old man to pay off a debit of his she runs away. While on the run and looking for her horse that her father sold she runs in to Sean who by chance has her horse.
Sean still feeling hurt from Brighit not wanting him is stunned when he runs into 'Tommy' dressed as a lad. It doesn't take him long to figure out she is a women and just as fast to know he wants her!
This was emotional joy to read their story! Another great book by Ms. York!!
