'Darcy Chooses: A Pride and Prejudice Variation' by Gianna Thomas is the story of Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy.
Darcy saved Charles Bingley from a fight back in the their younger days and now they are best friends. But Charles sister Caroline has set her sights on marrying Darcy. But Darcy wants nothing to do with that ideal.
Darcy happens to meet Lizzy when they are in a riding couch together. Then they meet again later where Darcy interest in her grew.
This was a enjoyable read that I couldn't put down. It has everything a historical romance needs.
