'Her Highland Rogue' by Violetta Rand is book one in the "Wild Highland Guardian" series. This is story is about Aileana and Errol MacRae.
Aileana was found when she was about 10 years old in the forest starved, cold and alone. She was taken in by the McRae and stayed there until one day one of the men tried to assault her. Aileana took off into the woods again. Now Error is told to go and look for her which Error is not all that excited to do. Error knows that his days of roaming are over since his father doesn't seem to be in good health. Now he finds himself looking for Aileana when he would rather be enjoying a women. Although Errol and Aileana have lived in the same Highland Tribe they never really interacted enough to know one another.
I defaulted to 3.5 stars because I thought Errol was not a manly Highlander that I like...he was somewhat young in thoughts/actions. But overall enjoyed the book.
