Review: The Highwayman

The Highwayman The Highwayman by Kerrigan Byrne
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I am not sure I can put into words how good this book is. I have cried in some of the scenes, felt happiness in others. This book has everything for me as Historical Romance reader for at least 35 years! Our hero is Dorian Blackwell, the Blackheart of Ben More, who has had a very hard life. He is unable to be physically touch due to some much hardship that he has suffered through. He is a real "male" hero and does seem stern yet very loving to the heroine. I can't say to much about him as I don't want to give the story totally away. Our heroine is named Farah, but her name is part of the story too. Farah, is a loving, caring smart heroine! Farah, has secrets that could in danger her life. She too has had a hard life by means of loosing her parents at an early age. Farah, is seen as a young widow working for a living instead of being who she really is, to learn more about her past. I really loved this book and as I write, I am trying to find more from this author: Kerrigan Byrne. I recommend this highly and hope that you too enjoy this book as I did. If I could I would give it a 100 stars!
