'Loyal Heart' by Anna Markland is book one in the "The Von Wolfenberg Dynasty" series. This is the story of Sophia Von Wolfenberg and Brandt Rodermark. There is no real cliffhanger so this couple does have their happy ending.
Brandt is attending the wedding to represent his people at the wedding Brandt is also sent into enemy territory to attend to be a representative by his Prince. Some slighted that Brandt is attending the wedding. Brandt has plans to leave the wedding as soon as it is over. Brandt left also before he could sign papers for his betrothal agreement. But when Brandt meets Sophia they are instantly attracted to each other. Sophia is the Groom's sister and she too is attracted to Brandt. We get to watch how their love comes together and what they have to over come.
