Sophia by Cynthia Woolf
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
'Sophia' Cynthia Woolf is book four in the "The Brides of San Francisco ". This is the story of Robert Langley and Sophia Hayes. I have not yet read the other book in this series so for me this was a standalone book. They did mention and have the other characters from the previous book in this one but it was not an issue at all.
Sophia had been engaged to be married and did have one night with her fiancé which didn't leave her feeling very close to him (This all happened off scene). Sophia sister ended up marring him, her former fiancé. Which cause a bigger issue to Sophia and her sister trouble relationship. So Sophia decided to become a mail order bride and move away from her home. Sophia was matched with Robert who had four children. Sophia has always wanted a husband and kids so the instant family was a major plus. Robert and Sophia were attracted to each other at first site and married pretty much the next day.
But a rush to marriage will they find that they haven't built enough foundation to withstand some issues headed their way?
I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
