'Reign of the Vampires' by Rebekah R. Ganiere is book one in the "The Society" series. This is the story of Danika Chekov and Mason. Danika is a Vampire Lord who was betrayed and almost killed by a man she thought she could trust. Now she is very cautious of who she lets in but she needs a blood slave to survive. So she goes to an auction where she see Mason who was trapped / caught and now put up for auction. Mason isn't completely human and hides it well. But it hard to keep the beast in him down when he is near Danika. This was an exciting read that was hard to put down. You wanted to see how things worked out and if they learned to trust each other.
