'Twilight Dreams' by Amanda Ashley is the story of Holly Parrish and Micah Ravenwood. I thought this could be a standalone book but I will be honest and say that I loved the secondary Kadie and Rylan Saintcrow so much I stop reading this one about half way in. I wanted to go find what book the secondary charcters were in...which was "As Twilight Falls" so I bought that book from Amazon and started reading it. Once done with that one I moved back to this one. "As Twilight Falls' does cover how Micah came to be and his former relationship with the older human he had but nothing that would really impact this story I thought. I just wanted to be caught up with what was going on with Rylan and Kadie too.
Micah is a newly turned Vampire that happens to meet Holly when she thinks he is a potential client for work that she has set up to meet. Once she discovers the truth she stays talking to Micah and he ask her out for a real date. While on there date he happens to find an enemy of Rylan who is looking to 'kill' him. Micah thinks that they will use Holly to get to him then in turn go to Rylan so he takes Holly with him back 'home'. There she struggles to understand what he is and what is going on along with her feelings that are growing for Micah. I liked the play out of their relationship...how they grew to understand each other too.
