Review: The Spinster and the Rake

The Spinster and the Rake The Spinster and the Rake by Anne Stuart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

'The Spinster and the Rake' by Anne Stuart is the story of Ronan Patrick Blakely, Marquis of Herrington, and Gillian Redford. This book originally came out around 1982 and now released...which I was glad to see since I missed it the first time it came out. Quick and Easy Read!
Ronan has been away for about 20 years after he and Lord Redford had a fallen out of a lady. Now he is back and on his way to his house he see an accident where Gillian was in. They meet and he takes her home to her brother's house who is Lord Redford. Ronan is attracted to Gillian and thinks to have some fun with her and show her what she is missing. His friend makes a bet that he can't seduce her. Gillian will be thirty years old soon and thinks there might be more to life that going back and between her brother's and sister's helping them with their children. So she starts to act out of character for her with Ronan. Can a confirm Rake be drawn into Gillian life?
I received an eARC, from NetGalley and the publisher, in exchange for an honest review.
