'Wake Me With a Kiss' by Samantha Holt is the story of Laird Hamish McTavish and Rose. It is about 97 pages so it was a sweet, easy read that just hit the 'spot'!
Rose has lived with 'Aunt' since she was a baby in a small area with just the servants and a few neighbors. They don't really interact much with the towns people and her Aunt just tells her that they don't really fit in. One day though Rose meets Hamish who is the new Laird. They don't get off on the right foot but soon things start to change. Hamish was once a solider and now has inherited this Laird title and lands. Hamish decides that he would like to get to know Rose more but has to go slowly to get past the Aunt.
