'The Advent of Lady Madeline' by Pamela Sherwood is book 0.5 in "The Lyons Pride" series. This is the story of Hugo Lowell, Viscount Saxby and Lady Madeline.
Hugo is talked into attending a house party given by Madeline's family. Hugo sister feels he needs a change and bring up his life from a boring status that it is. He agrees to go and keep an eye or their brother at the party. Once there he meets Madeline and is quickly attracted to her. Madeline has been turning down proposals for a few years but is starting to think that maybe she should marry. Madeline does find Hugo attractive and think he is very smart. But can they build this onto true love?
This was a quick, easy read!!
