'The Dare and the Doctor' by Kate Noble is book in the "Winner Takes All" series. This is the story of Dr. Rhys Gray and Miss Margaret Babcock. This can be a standalone book so if you are like me jumping in and out of the series you should be okay. This story is the classic friendship that turns to love. Rhys and Margaret have been writing back and forth to each other discussing mostly their work and supporting each other through their friendship. But when Rhys has brought a chance for Margaret to go forward with her wish as budding botanical gardener to present her new rose to the Botanical Society she is very nervous. Margaret feels socially awkward and would have to go to the town to reach her dream. But she moves forward with going forward. Rhys is expecting to marry a certain lady but when he meets Margaret again he finds he is having a hard time fighting his feelings for her. This was a sweet romance that didn't have a lot of sexual scenes so just know that if you prefer books like that.
