'By The Hour' bt Roni Loren is book Two in the "Pleasure Principle" series. This is the story of Dr. Elle McCray and Lane Cannon. I have not yet read the previous book so for me this was a standalone book.
Elle is now a divorced women trying to get over the hurt of being betrayed by her husband and someone else who she was close too. Elle has found herself to be a uptight snobbish person with a chip on her shoulder. Lane is completely different from Elle in that he isn't taking live so serious. Lane used to be a paid escort and now is working as a Sex Therapist and going to college. He is also younger than Elle by a few years. Elle used to look down on Lane but they slowly got to know one another and agreed to be sex buddies. But that lead to their feelings growing into more than they had planned.
This was a great book for second chances at finding love!
