'An Earl by Any Other Name' by Lauren Smith is the First book in a New Series called 'Sins and Scandals'. This is the story of Leopold Graham, Lord Hampton and Ivy Leighton.
Please note also this is a Novella with about 105 pages.
Leo was an admitted rake but after the death of his father....who died in the arms of his mistress. Leo has found that besides that his father has left them with a mountain of debt. So he has taken to get them out of debit and to help get their name back.
Ivy was once a great friend to Leo when they were younger and would follow Leo around everywhere. But when tragedy struck she was taken away by her father. So in the present day she hasn't seen Leo since they were young. Ivy is not the demure lady and town gossip always seems to be talking about her...so he wouldn't think that she would be what a town wife would be. But it appears his mother thinks differently.
So love Ms. Smith books! Another great story!
