'THE QUEEN' by Skye Warren is Book Two in The "Masterpiece Duet" series. This continues the story of Damon and Penny. I strongly feel you have to read the previous book to enjoy this one.
We pick up with Penny going to college and Damon still watching her in the background. Damon is keeping Penny's father in his debt and trying to keep him inline. We learn more about how Damon suffered early on to keep Penny safe from his father and him dealing with not doing enough to protect her. Penny and Damon have been playing a dancing game with their feelings but in the book it all comes to a head. Penny knows she needs to help Damon now and she does. Damon and Penny both only really exist for one another.
This book was another book that you just cannot put down...I had to know how it ended.
I have truly enjoyed this series!
