Review: The Earl's Encounter

The Earl's Encounter The Earl's Encounter by Wendy Vella
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

'The Earl's Encounter' by Wendy Vella is Book Seven in the "Regency Rendezvous" Series. This is the story of Lady Millicent 'Milly " Lawrence and Joseph, Earl of Ellsworth.
Millicent broke it off with Joseph after she found out that she would be putting his life in danger if they stayed together. Millicent was a lady of the town and with Joseph to become an Earl who have had the perfect life and in addition she loved him. But that changed after she broke her engagement off with him and went on the run. Now four years later she used to going by Milly and being just a servant. But even with her padded cheeks, lisp in her voice, dyed hair and glasses it doesn't take Joseph long to figure out who she is. But he pretends not to know who she is but instead ask her question trying to learn what is going on with her. Milly is taking on a new job as a Governess to a near by Estate and Milly is trying desperately to get away from Joseph before he figures out who she really is. Although Milly feels she is still a danger to Joseph I think she feels a little hurt that he did try to find out the real reason she left instead of the made up on of not loving him but loving another man. Joseph still feels the pain of Millicent rejection and it changed him from the carefree loving person to the more guard and jaded man he is.
They both have so much to work out, but with Love there is always a way to do so.
"My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."
