Wet by Angel Payne is the Fifth book in the "Honor Bound"
series. This is the story of Lani Kail and Kellan Rush Tait Bommer. I do
feel this can easily be a standalone book.
Tait has been going through a downward spiral since the death of a women named Luna Lawrence that he was involved with. So much so that it has started to effect his job with the US Army's First Special Forces Group and he is Ordered by John Franzen their battalion CO to go to Hawaii a home station to his mind back in the game. Kellan his brother in arms has been assigned to go with him to help with getting him back. This book opens to them drunk and fighting near West Kaua. Lani finds them on her property and thinks they are apart of the resort developer Gunter Benson gang of men. Lani threats the guys with her knife but she has the guys stunned with her beauty and braveness. Even Tait is woken up enough to start feeling alive again. Kellan and Tait make a stand with her that day and feel protective of her and her younger brother.
This book had me from the first page! I could not put it down...Loved it!
