Review: Notice by K. Webster

Notice Notice by K. Webster
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Notice by K. Webster is the story of Violet and Grayson Maxwell 'Hawk'.
Violet escaped a very bad and abusive relationship where she was very mistreated. Violet came out of it a weak women but while moving and hiding from the abusive ex boyfriend she has turned into a strong successful women. Violet has worked her way up to Grayson assistant but is now tired of his indifferent ways, the men of the company always trying to get fresh with her and that she has been noticed for all the hard work that she does. So when she finally agrees to take a job at another company she happy walks in front of Mr. Maxwell and slams down her two week notice.
Grayson has always had the ability to focus in on one thing and become almost obsessed with it. This has made anything else fall from his view. Coming from a dysfunctional family and his time as a sniper has contributed greatly to that focus. But when he gets the papers slammed in front of him and he looks up into Violet eyes, he knows his focus has just shifted. Violet brings focus to him and he feels a connection he never before has felt. So he instantly knows she is his and he will do anything to keep her...and protect her.
I have read Ms. Webster's books before and loved them..but somehow I missed this one. It was not until I saw a FB post from Ann Mayburn (another great author!) talking about this book and how good it was that I quickly went to Amazon and bought it. I ended up reading it as soon as it hit my Kindle and I didn't stop reading until the end.
Ms. Webster is also very generous with her Epilogues. Epilogues add so much to the all around feel good of a book.
Loved this Semi-Dark Romance!!
