This is such a Great Box set! This has 4 full books by Ms. Johnstone totaling about 883 pages.
1. When a Laird Loves a Lady is the story of Iain and Marion.
Iain steal heartbroken after the lost of his wife has not thought of another women but when the King orders him to marry Marion he has not choice. Marion is a title lady whose mother was Scottish but has now past away. Marion still has her titled father but he is a evil money hungry man trying to marry her off to a evil knight named William. Exciting story.
2. Wicked Highland Wishes is the story of Lachlan and Bridgette.
Lachlan loves Bridgette but he brother has said that he loves her so he quietly steps away from a romantic relationship. Bridgette too loves Lachlan but after his brother was hurt saving her she feels guilt toward the brother. But can their feelings be put aside?
3. Christmas in the Scot's Arms is the story of Miss Cecelia and Liam.
Cecelia is having to deal with the lost of her father and him loosing their money too. Cecelia's mother is trying to keep up appearances but with not money they have been letting go of the help and Cecelia has been picking doing the jobs instead. But her mom still wants Cecelia to find a husband so she doesn't want her taking outside employment. Sadly Cecelia was done wrong by her former fiancée...which lead to the town thinking badly of her.
Liam has come to London to escape the ladies back home who have been trying to get him into a marriage. Liam thought in addition to escaping that he might find that the London ladies were different but no such luck. But he happens by a chance meeting with Cecelia that gets him to thinking maybe the ladies aren't all the same. Cecelia is under the impression that Liam is poor and that of course won't help her but she can't help the feelings she is having for him!
4. When a Highlander Loses His Heart is the story of Graham and Isobel.
Isobel has been in a convent since she was a baby and her father didn't plan on getting her out until she turns 18 years of age. Isobel's grandmother had left her a castle which has made her a target for clans wanting to claim all that Isobel has. If Isobel was to marry before her 18 Birthday she would have lost everything but now she has been taken out of the convent by her Step-Mother who she has just met. Isobel feels that her Step-Mother is evil and is up to no good which is quickly shown when she tries to marry her off to Jamie MacLeod. Isobel knows that MacLeod is a enemy of her father. But before any Wedding goes forward Graham comes busting through and takes her. But he is kidnapping her to take her to the King so that he may choose who her husband will be.
Isobel is a strong, Innocent, brave and all around great leading lady. Graham is emotionally wounded and slow to accept that he deserves love and happiness.
