Mastering Her Heart by Lesley Clark is book One in the A Cut Above series. This is the story of Lainie Bryant and Doctor Matthew Taylor.
Lainie has been in a relationship for a few years where she is comfortable and cares for him but there is not sparks...something is missing. So she leaves him to head out to stay with her best friend there she meets a doctor who like her friend and her husband is into BDSM lifestyle.
Sparks fly immediately but Lainie didn't think she was ready to jump into another relationship nor has she ever been in the BDSM lifestyle.
Matt was a great hero who you fell in love with along with Lainie.
