Firsts by C.L. Matthews is the story of Silas and Leia.

Silas is an older man who has been friends of Leia mother and father.  But they didn't really see each other until she was about 13 years old.  They happen to see each other before they knew who the other was.  Silas thought she was almost 17 years old but she was just 13.  They didn't act on their feelings until she was around 16 years old and it was just heavy petting.  But then when she is almost 18 years old Silas ups and marries her mother setting off hurt feelings.  So their lives are more complicated then before. Lela has a best friend Brax who she also has some feelings for.
This book does end setting us up for the next installment in their story.
