The Prophet by Celia Aaron is book Two in The Cloister Trilogy. This book continues the story of Adam and Delilah, so you do need to read the previous book "The Maiden" first.
This book starts right where the other one left off. Delilah has been caught from trying to escape and now left to be punished. Although Adam has to go through with the punishment he is working to be with Delilah. Adam hates his father and what he is doing especially to Delilah.
This book and series is one that you cannot stop reading. Yes, it is a Dark Romance but it is one very exciting one! This does have possible trigger issues and does end to start the next book in their story.
