Saving the King by Leilani Love is book One in the 'A King's Tale' series. This is the story of Katrina and Bryan.
Katrina is friends with the Queen who is expecting a child. When Morgana goes to threaten the child that they will never hold their child but once. So when the Queen has the baby she turns to Katrina to take the baby to Merlin for him to protect the future King/Baby. But while traveling to do so she is set up and when she was almost set to be killed Bryan comes to save her and the baby.
This was a novella but it read like a full length book... I couldn't put it down! I defiantly want to read more books in this series...can't wait!!
