Over Easy by Jessa York is book One in the Santa Lena Sizzles series. This is the story of Harper and Jack.
Harper has been out of a abusive marriage for over a year now but her trust in men isn't back yet. Harper has sworn of men and she is happy with her work and the friends she has. But her friends are starting to try and throw her back into the dating field. Jack is very busy with his restaurant and working to expand which is keeping him busy...but the chance siting of Harper makes him want something more. When he runs into her again he tries to move forward with getting to know her and of course Harper is somewhat slow on going along fully with the ideal. But the chemistry is to strong and Jack knows what he wants. Jack is sexy who knows how to cook...what more can you want but then her past comes back causing issues.
This was such a great story and being the authors first is very surprising...I can't wait for the next installment in their story!
