CLOSER by ANNA BROOKS is book Four in the Guarding Her series. This is the story of Gio and Whitney. I have read the previous books, but feel you can make this a standalone book.
Gio and Whitney were once best of friends but then one night everything changed. Whitney up and left leaving Gio. But now she is back about 8 years later. Their story comes out with a misunderstanding and feelings still running strong. Enjoyed reading how their story came out.
This is a really good series for sure!
