The Highland Renegade by Amy Jarecki is book 5 in the Lords of the Highlands Series. This is the story of Laird Robert Grant and Janet Cameron. I have read the previous books, but I feel this can be a standalone book.
Robert has always been drawn to Janet but she is is revivals daughter so she is of course not for him. But when she is taken, he goes forward to help get her back. Janet works to escape her captors but when she is saved by Robert she still works to escape. Janet knows she should fight her attraction to Robert but the more time they are together them more neither can easily walk away.
Loved it!
