Hard Loving Cowboy A. J. Pine is book Three in the Crossroads Ranch Series. This is the story of Violet Chastain and Walker Everett. I felt this book could easily be a standalone book.
Violet is the newest employee on Crossroads Ranch and is causing some distraction to Walker who tires to focus on his focus on the ranch. When Violet asked for his help in pretending to be her boyfriend for her parents anniversary dinner he goes forward to help her...unable to say no to her. What Violet didn't set out to do was to have Walker setting himself up in her life where the lines get blurry on what kind of relationship they are in.
