Beauty and the Badge by Ella Fox is book One in the Charlotte's Cove Series. This is the story of Tyler Jameson and Ashley Colton.
Ashley doesn't have a great boss who is really cruel to her. Along with a robbery that takes place at at the store she lives above that is owned by a a family member upsets her she decides to return to her home town in the cabin she was left with. Ashley ends up talking to her old neighbor back home who gets her a job at the police station. Tyler is the chief of police and agrees to giving Ashley the job..site unseen. But when he does get a look at her she his feeling for her and his desire for her go off the charts. But of course nothing goes easy for them. Enjoyed their story and looking forward to reading more from this series and author.
