Then You Happened by K. Bromberg is the story of Tatum Knox and Jack Sutton.
Tatum as we learned in the Prologue choose to leave her family to get married when her family made her choose between them. But Tatum story goes into years later when we learn that her choice was not good. Tatum husband wasn't a nice or good person who lied to her, pretty much kept her isolated and turn the town/people against her with lies. Now she is a widower trying to keep the ranch going after her husband squandered everything. Jack is a man with secrets who comes forward to help Tatum but she doesn't trust anyone after her awful husband. But time starts to change them both and feelings that they didn't want starts to grow.
Enjoyed their story.
