Charlie by Jennifer Hanks is book 7 in The Dimarco Series. This is the story of Ben Dimarco and Charlie Donovan. I have read (and LOVED!) the previous books, but I did think this could be a standalone book. This is a really good series so you might jut want to read the books in order.
Charlie has always been in love with been from an early age. Charlie is best friends with Ben's sister and their family has taken her UN-officially as their own because of the lack of care she has had from her family. Charlie has finally come to the conclusion that Ben is never getting over his ex girlfriend nor is he going to see her as anything more than a 'little sister'. But unknown to Charlie Ben has been seeing her as something more for a long while but just hasn't made the move toward it. But now is their time to come into their own feelings. I am in love with this author's writing. It has the strong alpha male characters along with the strong female character. It has the much love family that cares for each other. I would highly recommend this book and her witting!
