GIVE ME THE WEEKEND by Weston Parker is the story of Taydom Gaines and Elsie Landrum.
Taydom didn't go the family route of staying on the farm and having a family.  Instead Taydom became a very rich and successful Real Estate mogul mostly doing commercial business but still does a few residential jobs.  This is how Taydom meets Elsie when she comes to a showing.  Elsie is a school consular who is working on getting her PhD in psychology. Elsie has had devastating news not to long ago that her mother who she was really close to died. So Elsie is left know just trying to get past her sadness with the help of her friend.  Now she feels that maybe finding a new place to stay would be the key to moving forward.  This leads her to meet Taydom who she is attracted too but she assumes he is just interested in her to make a deal.  But they soon meet again giving them a second chance which leads him to offer her his guest house to stay out. Both start to find something in each other that makes them feel whole.  This was a really great story!  I hope to read more from this author soon.  Loved it!
