 LONER by Harloe Rae is the story of Keegan and Crawford 'Ford'.
Ford grew up with a really mean and cruel childhood which has turned him into the longer who doesn't do relationship and feelings.  Ford is the local bike mechanic in town so Keegan knows of Ford  but neither interacts which each other. But that changes when Keegan is left needing help and it just so happens that Ford is the one that comes along. Keegan is a hard working, single mom who doesn't keep someone to save or help her but she does take his help this time. Millie her daughter who she gives the world to has taken a fixation on Ford.  So the heart strings get pulled along with the sparing between the two adults.  Of course they both combust into some hot encounters that neither can't seem to stop.  Loved this book and of course this author's writing. I plan on read more of her books in the future.
