Inked in Lies by Giana Darling

Inked in Lies Inked in Lies by Giana Darling
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Inked in Lies by Giana Darling is book 5 in The Fallen Men Series.  This is the story of Lila and Nova /Johnathon.  I have read ( AND LOVED!) the previous books which did add to my enjoyment of this book. Although I thought you could make it a standalone book, I really think you should read them in order.  The series is really good so for that reason alone I would say read it.  Nova grew up in a loving home but never really felt connected or felt to me something was missing.  But then he meets Zeus of The Fallen Men and he find his other family that really excepts him for himself. Lila doesn't have it easy at all growing up nor I felt really as and adult.  Lila's father was a drug dealer who had questionable people over and her mother was never really around much.  Lila's one sold was her brother Dane.  Dane looked after Lila but then Johnathon moved in next door when Lila was around 6 years old.  Johnathon was about 11 years older than her but he because a part critical part to her and Dane childhood. Lila always has always been in love with Johnathon but when she is around 18 he pretty much tells her to move on past him.  Which she does tried to but feelings can't be turned off even when someone says to.  Lila has nothing to loose (or so she feels) when she steps up to help out the MC who has also become a family to her.  This author knows how to write the books that you cannot put down.  I am a totally fan and cannot get enough of her books.  I did hold back a little just because of Nova an a few things he did but that didn't stop my enjoyment of this book.  I would highly recommend it and this series!
