Defy You by Tracy Lorraine is book Three in the Rebel Ink Series. This is the story of Spike and Kassie 'Kas'. I have read the previous books which of course added to my enjoyment of this one. I do feel you can make it a standalone book if you wish to do so. Kas is Zach's younger half-sister and Spike is Zach's best friend. Zach we met and received his story in the first book 'Hate You' but again you can move forward if you want but this is a great series...so maybe not. Spike is somewhat older than Kas and he knows that Zack would not want him involved with Kas but when he finds her stripping at Pulse he enters Kas's life full force. Kas didn't have a easy up bringing and never expected help from anyone so when a debt comes up that her mother owes she is forced to be the one to pay it...which is how Spike finds her. Kas doesn't have a choice with Spike because he is taking control...but how will Zach handle this? I am a fan of this author's writing so I fully enjoyed it and would recommend this book....really any of Ms. Lorraine books.
