Beauty Tempts the Beast by Lorraine Heath is book 6 in the Sins for All Seasons Series. This is the story of Benedict 'Beast ' Trewlove and Althea 'Thea' Stanwick. I have read the previous books but feel this is a standalone book. Thea has fallen on hard times and is no longer the privileged young women of the town. So she finds herself working at the Mermaid and Unicorn bar. There she meets Beast who is a leader in the dark underworld. They end up talking and Thea comes up with the thought that if Beast could train her she could become a mistress. Being a mistress would allow her to enter back into her world of course as a different part of society and to bring back money. Beast doesn't feel that she is suited for his dark world but he can't seem to stop the growing feelings for her...nor she to him.
