Immortal Angel by Lynsay Sands is book 31 in the Argeneau Series. This is the story of Ildaria and Joshua "G.G.". I have read the previous book but I do feel this can be a standalone if you choose to do so. Ildaria was attacked when she was younger and she ended up becoming a Immortal. Ildaria has turned into a fighting immortal taking down the bad guys. When she has compromised herself and possible others she is relocated to a small town to lay low and work at a somewhat normal job at a club. This leads her to meet her new boss G.G who is also a immortal. G.G. knows that he is drawn to Ildaria but has took the path to fight his feelings. Ildaria is a strong women who doesn't have much experience in the bedroom but that doesn't stop her attempts to be more to G.G. Of course their path isn't easy...especially when Ildaria past comes back for her. I am such a fan of Ms. Sands that I would highly recommend her writing because she just draws you into her story's.
