MR. PARK LANE by Louise Bay is book 4 in The Mister Series. This is the story of Joshua Luca and Hartford Kent. I have read the previous books which did add to my enjoyment of this one but I do think you can make it a standalone book. Joshua and Hartford at one time where young friends do to their family friendship. But Hartford always felt more and when she was about 17 got her heart broken by Joshua which put her on a new path. Now about 10 years later Hartford is a Dr who has been overseas working/ volunteering at Medicines Sans Frontiers. Returning to the States and looking forward to a new job as a Pediatrician she finds that her family has set her up to live with Joshua until she finds a place of her own. Joshua is a very successful business man who enjoys his playboy lifestyle after having a bad past relationship. These two try to work in the friend zone but their hot connections just won't let them. This was a really good book and a great series.
