Taken Bride by Alta Hensley is book Three in The Secret Bride Series.  This conclusion the story of  Ember and Christopher.  So you should read the previous books: Captive Bride and Kept Bride before starting this one.  This book does pick up where we left off.  Christopher has returned to find Ember gone and he start to realize that he has let Ember down by trusting his mother and others. Now he on the path to making things right and finding his women.  This has been nothing short of a page turning read. I will definitely looking for more books from this author.
