Broken Sparrow by Chelle Bliss is the First book in the Open Road Series. This is the story of Alice Sparrow and Morris. Although this is the first book Morris has been in a previous series 'Men of Inked: Heatwave' but this book can be a standalone. I just wanted to make note of that in case that helped you with choosing this book. Morris is the VP of a newly established MC Club but he is dedicated to the club and to the single life. Morris has never wanted a wife nor felt the urge toward one women, instead liking the options of women. But when he meets Alice he feels a instant connection...one he has never felt before. Morris believes that she is running scared but can only get her to take his number. Alice is a young women who has a young daughter but is not married to her daughter's father but is now on the run from that abusive husband. Alice's past relationships hasn't given her trust in men so she is Leery at first with Morris but then her car gives out and she has no money or safe place to stay. This starts their adventure to love.
