Cassio by Eva Winners is book Three in the Belles & Mobsters Series. This is the story of Áine Evans and Cassio King. I have read the previous books which did add to my enjoyment of this one. But, I do think you could make it a standalone book if you wish to do so. Cassio and his brother almost 10 years ago rescued a 14 year old girl from Human Traffickers which ended up being his father and stepfather running such a organization. Now in their present day, Cassio has kept Áine in the back of his mind until a few years back where he was able to see the women she has become. Now he has been on a mission to claim her. Áine as a coping mechanism seems to have forgotten parts of what happened to her and she had forgotten Cassio. But she does feel a connection to him. Now she is a strong women fighting to save other people. This was such a page turning read. I am a big fan of this author's writing and can't wait for more from her along with this series.
