Dangerous Games by Riley Edwards is book Three in the Takeback Series.  This is the story of Sadie Pierce and Reese Turmel.  I haven't yet read the previous books, so for me this was a standalone book.  I do wish just for the character build to have read them but you don't have to. Sadie has been building up her Bakery called "Treats" but then her cheating ex boyfriend has wiped her out of money and most everything she had. Now she is just trying to keep her bakery going. Sadie has decided to not give into her trusting ways and for sure to stay clear of relationships.  Reese too has been burned by relationships when his wife cheated on him while he was deployed in the military.  Now all these years later he is still sticking to his no relationship deal he made to himself.  But the more he interacts with Sadie who they share mutual friends with the more he is having second thoughts about that deal.  But both are stubborn and they slowly start to drop their guard.  This was a really good read and I can't wait for more in this series along with the author.
