About the Author:

V.F.Mason always loved reading books and had quite a few fights with her momma over the genre she liked (romance, duh!) She studied filmmaking and thought that would feed her desire for stories, but that didn’t happen. Finally, when she was tired of all those voices in her head, she sat down and wrote a book. It was a huge decision to make and she thanks her friends and family for supporting her in it. When she is not writing, she can be found with her friends doing all sorts of crazy things or reading recent romance books that were written by her favorite authors.

Remi's War by V.F. Mason this is the story of Remi and Penelope.  
Remi is part of the Four Horsemen who are all men who have dark sides and use that to take out bad people. Remi has an additional goal of getting revenge on his Grandfather who took him away from his mother and had hired someone to kill him.  Now he is seeking to bring the man down and to do so is through Amalia and her shares in his grandfather's company.  Penelope was raised in France by a loving Uncle who she knows as Dad.  But she had learned when she was a teenager that she has a Twin sister called Amalia. Ever since then she has been trying to locate her and has in her present day come to look for her after she go a lead.  Remi sees Penelope and thinks she is Amalia at first so that catches his eyes to her but it more than that.  He feels a connection to her that he doesn't have for people other than his Horseman brothers.  So now he wants her more than he wants the shares he thinks she has.  This was a great dark read.  I a such a huge fan of Ms. Mason writing.  I highly recommend it.  Can't wait for more stories from her.
