Dirty Ledger by Alta Hensley and Livia Grant is book Two in the Dark Pen Series This is the story of Rowan Worthington who is a famous social light who shares most all of her life on social media which has turned her into a influencer. Rowan has been staying at The Whitney where unknown to her someone tracks her and then starts to assault her. Rowan ends up killing the man only to learn he has power connections with the mafia. Z lives in the shadows which works out for his job as a mafia cleaner. This is how Z ends up meeting Rowan who his is there to clean up this issue. But Z knows she is in danger and they end up going into hiding together to keep her safe. This was an exciting read and can't wait for more in this series.
