Ruthless Rival by LJ Shen is the First book in the Cruel Castaways Series. This is the story of Christian Miller (Nicholai Ivanov 'Nicky') and Arya Roth.  Arya and Nicky where young friends...secret friends.  Reason being was that Nicky was the maid son for Arya's father.  Nicky knew that he wasn't supposed to touch or interact with anything on the property.  When they grew older of course they had crushes on each other and when Arya dared Nicky to kiss her he did.  But they where caught by her father.  Now in their preset day we learn that Arya thought Nicky had died.  Nicky changed his name to Christian Miller and is vowing to bring her father down. Arya doesn't recognized him at first. Christian thinks that Arya set him up and he out to break her too.
Exciting read and can't wait to read more from this series.
