Compel by Candice Wright is book Two in the Death in Bloom Series. This is the story of Kenzo and Trix. I have read the previous book which did add to my enjoyment of this one, but I did think it can be a standalone book. Kenzo happens to meet Trix at a farmers type market and feels a connection. Trix has been through something that no one should be subjected to such darkness. So, she is guarded when she meets Kenzo and knows the danger. Kenzo can't get the chance meeting out of his mind an goes to find her which starts their story. I can't say enough about this author's writing. It is awesome. I thought she couldn't do any better than the previous book because I loved it so much but this one took me to another side of her writing. I am no to surprised when I read the books but this one did give me a surprise. Loved it and can't wait to read more books from this author.
