Maestro: A Love Story by Auden Dar is the story of Aurelia Preston and Chadwick Davis 'Chad'.  Chad and Aurelia meet when they are young teenagers.  They become friends and then more but then their lives turn and we end up reading their story through several years (around 20 years). So this does have a slow burn story I felt. Enjoyed and I hope to read more from this authors.
